Vickie L. Williams-Morris is a visual and literary artist from northeast Ohio. Vickie has earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Cleveland State University. She contributed poetry to two anthologies, "Cleveland in Prose & Poetry" (2005) and "Gumbo for the Soul: Recipe for Literacy in the African-American Community" (2007). Her latest anthology contribution is “Chicken Soup For The Soul: Celebrating People Who Makes A Difference” (2008). She recently written and illustrated a children’s book, “Grandma’s Soup: As Told By Ja’Nae” (2007) and is working on a stage play “Even The Blind Can See”. She was awarded an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award (2007) for a collaborative work of nonfiction, a memoir based on her sister’s Pam life, “Pam I Am: A Felon’s Story”. Vickie thanks her family and friends for their on-going support and, most of all, God for her creative ability and for opening doors of opportunity.
