Niklas Liepe, born in 1990 in Göttingen, Germany, started playing the violin at the age of four. When he was 11 years old he started to study with Prof. K. Wegrzyn at the Universitiy for Music in Hanover. He is a graduate of the IFF (Institute for promotion of musical highly gifted). Since 2006 he is a pre-student at the University for Music in Cologne. Since his 7-th year Niklas is prizewinner of several national and international competitions. Niklas started to play concerts at the age of 7, very often as a chamber musician together with his brother. At the age of ten he started to play as a soloist with several famous orchestras.
